:) I feel free.
So here's the scoop:
NYU offered me a $10,000 scholarship. Nice, nice...but not quite enough. Yes, the cost was around $15,000 more for NYU, but money wasn't the biggest factor here. You see, I basically have had my mind made up for a week or so. Seattle U seems to fit me more. I was excited about the huge change of living in New York (and the fact that the dorms had their own bathrooms, haha), but I know that Seattle is the city I truly love. I feel more comfortable here. I feel more support. I have the ability to be incredibly independent and grow in so many ways, yet I also have the ability to call on family when I really need them (and I won't have to take a long, awful flight back home). I feel so happy to have this weight lifted off my shoulders and finally know. I finally know!
I'm going to Seattle University!

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our lives, and I am 99% certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as memory becomes less expensive, the possibility of transferring our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.
