I had three finals to conquer this week: a ten minute oral final for philosophy, a final of short responses and an essay question for history, and a written final for Spanish. I have finished two so far and I only have my Spanish final left! Yes :)
My philosophy final went really well and I was really happy about it. Before the final, I was super nervous and I thought that would make it hard for me to talk and respond to the questions. However, I somehow pulled it off and did “an excellent job” (in the words of my professor). I walked out of the final with a huge smile on my face and did a little dance when I got back to my dorm. One final was finished!
I had my history final today, which I also did a bunch of studying for. I was even studying down to the last five minutes before the final! I think I did pretty well on the exam, especially on the short response questions. The essay section I was less sure about, but I think I at least did a decent job. After the final, we were given back our papers that we turned in a couple weeks ago. I received a 95 on my paper! That means I should be able to pull off at least an A- if not an A in that class. Really happy!
Now, I have one final left. My Spanish final is tomorrow and I am not too worried about it. I will do a little studying tonight and I little more in the morning and I should be fine. My grade in that class is a solid A, so I’m feeling great about my Fall Quarter grades in general. Yay! I’m glad this week is coming to an end. I survived my first bunch of finals in college :)
