Short Hair.

I got my hair cut a couple weeks ago! It feels so much better now. So much lighter. It was definitely a good change.

My classes are going alright. This quarter is very challenging, but I'm fighting through it. Plus, only a few weeks left of winter quarter anyway. Oh I am excited for it to be over :)

And then only eight quarters left of college! Hopefully.

I recently read The Romance of Tristan & Iseult, which my sister bought me from a cute little used bookstore in Lynnwood. It is quite different from the movie, as books usually are. But I really liked it. It was more detailed and sincere. It had such an older feel to it as well. I could just imagine the culture during those ancient times. The narrator often spoke to the reader like he or she was his best friend. I finally had a chance to read simply for my own enjoyment and it felt amazing. I hope I will have more chances like that soon to keep my mind away from the college stress.

I have a meeting in the next couple weeks with the woman who runs the study abroad psychology program in Spain. I'm really looking forward to learning more about the program. It will be a great experience to be able to go to Spain and study psychology there. To read a little more about the program, go here:

I really love learning the Spanish language more thoroughly. I love speaking Spanish :) I recently bought my favorite book in its original form, in Spanish (La Sombra del Viento). I'm reading it page by page and taking in the new vocabulary I have to look up online. It might take awhile to read, but it is definitely worth it.

I have a busy next couple weeks working my way up to finals. I will survive it! I will be strong! Wish me luck.
