Say "Ahh" / Say "A,A,A"

Say "Ahh!" : Finals week was fairly intense. I was running on a few hours of sleep each night, trying to balance my emotions after a breakup, and studying with strained eyes. I had a final paper for Buddhism due at the beginning of finals week. I chose the topic of abortion in Japan (mizuko kuyo), which was difficult to research, read and write about for the whole weekend. But somehow I finished the paper on time and felt relieved to have one of the three finals completed. Tuesday night was the St. Patrick's Day feast at my grandparents' house. I love love love this holiday with my family. Corned beef, cabbage, cooked carrots, green rolls, cookies, Bailey's, amazing cake...yum! It was a great escape from studying. My phenomenological psychology final was next on Wednesday. 5 essay questions in class. We were given study practice questions before the test, so it was pretty manageable. Statistics was my last one on Thursday! We were given an at least fifteen page study guide before the test, loaded with examples and new concepts to learn. It was ridiculous. The final exam was 126 questions, I believe. The professor didn't help us learn the information well enough. Oh well. I made it through! I was just so completely happy to be finished with finals and another quarter.

Say "A,A,A!" : I was a little worried about my grades for this quarter, especially with the intense Buddhism paper and the crazy Stats final. But somehow, somehow!, I pulled off three A's again :) Thank goodness. 3.984 GPA and only four quarters of college remaining. I'm almost there! I've got this. Now to relax for Spring Break...
