Year 2 of 3! :)

"Back to school. Back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool. I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight. Ohhhh, back to school. Back to school. Back to school. Well, here goes nothing..."

Step One: Day with Molly who spent the summer in Alaska! :) So nice to have her back.
Step Two: Pack, pack, pack. In the early morning after only a few hours of sleep.
Step Three: Load car. (less than last year!)
Step Four: Drive. (not me. Mom. Still don't do that yet...)
Step Five: Unload. Unload. Wait for cart. Unload. With the help of Mom, Dad (who appropriately wore his Superman shirt!), and Molly F. :)
Step Six: Set-up and decorate.
Step Seven: Dinner at Via Tribunali with Mom. Yummmmy. (great way to avoid the Student Center for one more night)
Step Eight: Watch TV, relax and get used to all the dorm noises again.
Step Nine: Sleep.

Move-in complete!

Step Ten: Wake up early. Adjust to shower shoes again. Get ready.
Step Eleven: Work! Only a few hours. Very nice to be back in the office.
Step Twelve: Pick up books. Eight books, including an intimidating History of Psychology one and religious books. Yikes.
Step Thirteen: Meet roommate. Alison from Maryland! She seems nice, but we haven't had a lot of time to talk yet.
Step Fourteen: Coffee with old roommate, Andrea. It was great to see her again and catch up!
Step Fifteen: Eat Cup Noodles.
Step Sixteen: Attend floor meeting. Many returning students, but some freshmen. Seems like a cool group of people though. Already better than last year's crazy arts floor :)
Step Seventeen: Blog!

First 24 hours of being back at college complete!
How many steps does it take? About 17.

Luckily classes don't start until Wednesday, so I have another day to relax. Heroes (and Prison Break and One Tree Hill) on tonight!!! Then work in the morning and visiting Adam at UW :) I have the feeling it will be a great year. I'm staying optimistic! It feels good to be back.
